Thank You so Much Don, I do not actually live in Colorado I was there for work for about 3 months and fell completely in love with it. This was taken in a state park west of Denver. I know you will enjoy your anniversary there no matter what part you got to and September would be the month I would choose to go back! Thanks again!

Well dadgum Shannon. I'd written a fairly long comment on this, and for some reason I can't find it now. Maybe this time will be a charm. I've not seen anything of your work that I'm anything but impressed with. You are GOOD! Having said that, I think this is my favorite of all. For all the world, it looks like it could be in the Blue Mountains of NE Oregon. We lived there for several years, and it's pretty special. What part of Colorado are you in? We plan on taking some time out there possibly for our 50th anniversary which is in September. Forgive me. I get sidetracked pretty easily. I love this piece of work. The colors are so very beautiful, and the composition is smack-dab on, in my opinion. When I look at this, my eyes go to the barn first, then follow that wonderful split rail fence down to the point that it makes that left angle. From that point, my eyes jump over to the other side's fence, then on to those wonderful trees (Ponderosa Pine?), then on to the forest covered hill. I know that a lot of people would say they are drawn to the fence first, then being led to the barn. I don't know why I don't see it that way, but that isn't important. What is important is the fact that you have just a marvelous photograph here, and I wish to goodness I could say it was mine. Thank you so much for putting it in A&F.
